Tech Industrial Development Zone
- The provincial-class development zone was authorized by the Peoples Government of Anhui in 1994.
- One of the three key development zones which will be developed greatly in Anhui province and the important increasing point in the local economy haying the wide spreading space to the domestic middle and western region.
- The overall planning control area is 35KM2 and the developed zone of 11KM2 has been built by the end of 2004.
- In the completed area, the public and productive facilities, i.e.roads, Water supply and drainages, power supply, steam supply, gas supply, telecommunication network have been constructed well.
- In the zone, there are Automobile Hardware Industrial Park, New Materials Industrial Park, Electronic Industrial Park, Textile Industrial Park, Modern Logistics Park and Ecological Residence Park, etc..
- The main industries are automobile spare & components, new materials, biopharmaceutical products, electronics, manufacturing of the complete set of equipment, textiles, etc..
- Up to 2004, in the zone there had been more than 350 industrial and commercial registered enterprises, in which, 15 enterprises are listing or relevant enterprises home and abroad.
- Up to 2004, in the zone there had been 32 enterprises abroad mainly from USA, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, etc..
- The industrial policy is taking high and new tech
as the mainstay, concurrently
developing multiple industries and the modern service section as well.
- The objective in 2010 is to construct the fined
park zone with the GDP of 10 billion Yuan RMB.
