Natural Environment
Location：Bengbu is located at north of Anhui and is the center of North jiangsu, Southwest Shandong, Southeast Henan and North Anhui. Within the radius of 200Km there are 5 regional center cities. Within the radius of 500Km there are 28 regional center cities, in Within 2 cities are the provincial capitals.
Climate：Bengbu belongs to the subhumid climate at north temperate zone and has distinct seasons and adequate sunshine with annual average temperature of 15.1℃. Geological Condition：The land of HNIDZB has a good geological condition and its ground bearing pressure is between 180~220 KPa.

Transport and Communications
Highway：The highways of Bengbu radiate in all directions．Bengbu is at the crossing of Beijing－Fuzhou Expressway and Xian－Luoyang－Shanghai Expressway and has the entrance and exit roads of high standards to connect to expressways, national roads and provincial roads. The main ways in HNlDZB are connected with the highways in Bengbu and all over the country. Containers by trucks can be transported to and back Shanghai Port, Naning Port and Lianyungang Port one day.
Railway Transport：Bengbu is one of the very important hubs of railway transportation and is at the crossing of Beijing－Shanghai Railway and Huainan Railway．through Huainan Railway it connects with Beijing－Jiulong Railway. Bengbu Railway Station has the daily acceptance＆dispatch capacity of 320 trains and possesses the first class large－sized cargo marshaling station and the largest container yard in the East China so that the joint transport of railway and seaway can be achieved．From Bengbu Railway Station you can arrive directly in more than 20 provincial capitals, three municipalities directly under the Central Government and 10 coastal cities over
the country Beijing－Shanghai Express Railway being built will set a station in Bengbu．
Waterway Transport：Bengbu Port, which connets to Yangzi River, is the largest one along the Huaihe River and is open to navigation in four seasons. Through the opening
Airway：Through the airport expressways, it takes only 2 hours to arrive at NanJing
Airport and 1.5 hours to Hefei Airport．Bengbu possesses a 4C－class standard airport．

Infrastructure
Telecommunication：with advanced telecommunication facilities, Bengbu is the command and dispatching center of the post and telecommunication in North Anhui and has the single master control station Anhui for Beijing－Shanghai Microwave Communication Mans.
Water Supply：Bengbu is one of the cities with the richest water supply per person in China and its daily water supply is up to 0.53 million m3. By means of a water supply pipeline of 1400mm and two pipelines of 600mm, there is a circular water supply system in HNIDZB and the water supply pressure is more than 0.22 Mpa.
Power Supply：Bengbu has the largest transformer station in the North Anhui area connected with the electrical power network in East China．It is sufficient in power supply．At present HNIDZB has built two transformer stations of 110KV／10KV with the total electrical capacity of up to 16MVA.
Heat Steam Supply：HNIDZB has the central system of heat supply with the steam supply capacity of 90 tons／day．
Drainage System：The drainage system in the zone makes the separate drainage of rain and sewage．
Sewage Processing System：Beside this zone a sewage processing plant with the capacity of 0.l million tons／day has been put into operation.
Roads：HNIDZB has built the roads network including 15 roads with the total length of 26Km.
Natural Gas Supply：The West-to-East Natural Gas Transportation Project sets a station in this zone and there is 10Km of 300mm natural gas pipeline in this zone.
Broadband Networks：The cable television program can be watched every household in this zone and the broadband network of 1000Mb or 100Mb can be applied to your computer.
